Homeless Friendly offer an award to people or organisations that go the extra mile on behalf of people who are homeless and are already recognised as being Homeless Friendly.

We first met Jonathan Billings when he managed The Wellspring in Stockport, being impressed by his commitment and determination to support people who are either homeless or threatened with homelessness.

Again at Salford Loaves and Fishes we found Jonathan again, where he brought about many positive changes including a community garden at RHS Bridgewater.

The hat trick being with his own charity https://egg.charity/ a dream which he has brought to fruition, offering much needed support into employment (for people who are homeless).

Homeless Friendly feel that Jonathan deserves to be recognised for his determination in always going the extra mile, thank you to our Dr Zahid Chauhan OBE for presenting the award.

If you feel that you or your organisation deserves to be considered for an award please email the manager at gail.sutcliffe1@nhs.net

EGG – the first charity to receive our award.
