The BillyChip Foundation is a registered charity continuing the legacy of Billy Abernethy-Hope a twenty year old ambulance driver from Bristol who was the inspiration and idea behind the BillyChip.

Billy believed that the common perception of people is that ‘if I give some money directly to a homeless person, it will will used for alcohol, cigarettes and at worst – drugs’.

BillyChip is literally a round plastic chip which you can purchase, its then exchanged for food and a drink at local venues.

Homeless Friendly fully support BillyChip and hope it becomes another alternative around the North West. Follow the link to find more: https://www.billychip.com/
