We are proud to announce that Dr Zahid Chauhan who is the founder of Homeless Friendly is to receive an OBE in The Queen’s New Year Honours. Dr Chauhan stated that he is ‘Humbled to be appointed by her Majesty the Queen as an officer of the order of the British empire (OBE) for my services to homeless people. I wish, we lived in a society where these services were not needed but our battle continues. Thank you to my family, friends & volunteers.’
