The people of Oldham and Macclesfield received the Homeless Friendly message on Saturday 19th October – thanks to OUR home club Official Oldham Athletic FC. The ‘Latics not only hosted our team but enabled us to broadcast a message to the crowd and display our logo around the pitch. They also dedicated a page in their programme to telling the bumper attendance all about our scheme to ensure that those without a fixed address receive the best #healthcare. “This is the beginning of what we hope will be a long partnership with Oldham Athletic” revealed our #charity’s creator, Zahid Chauhan, “there will be plenty of activity from the club as we build-up to what is the most difficult time of the year for people who are homeless – the winter. Our thanks for their superb hospitality and efforts to help us reach a new audience.” ‘Latics are even making their ticket office a hub for rough sleepers to receive information on where to find shelter and support.
